Oversee daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and quality standards are met.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and resort standards.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and request replenishment when needed.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs related to room cleanliness or amenities.
  • Coordinate with the front office regarding room status, check‑ins, check‑outs, and special arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare daily reports on room status, staff performance, and cleaning progress.
  • Support and motivate staff to maintain high service standards and efficiency.
  • Report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, malfunctioning equipment, or needed repairs.
  • Assist with scheduling, staff attendance, and performance evaluations.
