Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role includes supervising, training, and motivating housekeeping staff, handling guest requests professionally, and ensuring full compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities and staff schedules
• Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and proper maintenance of guest rooms and public areas
• Conduct room and area inspections to maintain quality standards
• Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally
• Monitor and control usage of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and hotel policies
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 4–5 years of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Languages: English & Hindi (Arabic is an advantage)

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
