Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to verify cleanliness and maintenance quality.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment handling.
- Support team members with complex cleaning tasks such as floor care, industrial cleaning, or specialized custodial duties when necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating staff, providing feedback, and recognizing outstanding performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and clear communication.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
