Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure efficient operations and exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and back-of-house spaces regularly to maintain quality standards.
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity.
- Oversee inventory control for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, including hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments.
- Experience with laundry operations and maintaining hygiene standards in laundry facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments seamlessly.
