HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards of our hotel. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a supervisory role within the hotel industry and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

✦ Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor within a hotel environment is essential

✦ Solid hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping operations

✦ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team

✦ In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room presentation requirements

✦ Familiarity with housekeeping management systems and linen/inventory control

✦ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

✦ Good communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous

✦ Ability to work varied shifts including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays

✦ Knowledge of health and safety regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES

✦ Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of room attendants and housekeeping staff

✦ Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas are cleaned and maintained to luxury standards

✦ Conduct regular inspections to verify rooms are prepared correctly before guest arrivals

✦ Assign daily tasks and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage

✦ Train, coach, and develop team members to meet departmental standards

✦ Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linen, and coordinate replenishment

✦ Handle guest requests, complaints, and lost & found items professionally and promptly

✦ Maintain accurate records and reports for management review

✦ Enforce hotel policies, safety regulations, and grooming standards within the team
