Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our property. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and motivate your team to excel. Your leadership will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations and maintains the highest levels of hygiene and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with strong supervisory skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive janitorial and custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
• Develop work schedules that optimize team productivity while maintaining flexibility for guest needs
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage
• Address guest requests and resolve any issues promptly to enhance overall satisfaction
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and sanitation practices

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and janitorial best practices
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with management of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and safety standards
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
