Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure top-tier cleanliness and presentation
• Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold standards of cleaning, safety, and guest satisfaction
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify adherence to cleanliness protocols and quality standards
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain smooth operations
• Implement efficient cleaning schedules and workflows to maximize productivity while maintaining high quality standards
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
• Enforce safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with a focus on team supervision
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial best practices
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations
• Ability to manage inventory efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for training staff and interacting with guests
