Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring all standards are met efficiently.
• Lead and motivate housekeeping staff by providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to foster a productive team environment.
• Monitor cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and hotel policies.
• Schedule shifts for housekeeping personnel, manage staffing levels, and handle time-off requests to maintain optimal coverage.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and storage spaces to uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, toiletries, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep cleans during guest stays or events.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting.
• Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, laundry operations, and janitorial procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of hotel industry standards for cleanliness and hospitality service excellence.
• Familiarity with management responsibilities such as scheduling, inventory control, quality assurance, and safety compliance.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
