Overview
The Housekeeping Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support a diverse team and provide excellent service to staff, clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the facility.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong background in janitorial or industrial cleaning environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in housekeeping management.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
