An HR Admin Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, which includes tasks like managing employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and handling employee inquiries. They are responsible for general office duties, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring HR procedures and compliance with labor laws are followed. Key responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Handle correspondence, answer phones, manage schedules, prepare documents like employment contracts, and maintain and update employee records.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist with the hiring process by scheduling interviews, performing background checks, and preparing offer letters.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Support new employees with orientation and onboarding paperwork, and assist with offboarding processes.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee questions, help address complaints, and support disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain confidential employee files and databases, and help with data entry and reporting on performance or benefits.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Assist with payroll processing and administration of employee benefits.
