Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to support daily human resources operations. This full-time position is integral to managing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, and general HR administrative tasks.

  • Salary: $45,000 – $48,000 per year
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Location: Honolulu, HI

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment, including screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers
  • Support onboarding processes, including preparing orientation materials and benefits enrollment
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with team leads regarding staffing needs and updates
  • Represent IFSH at job fairs, community events, and recruitment initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including new hires, promotions, and terminations
  • Assist with offboarding, including preparing separation paperwork and conducting exit interviews
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, 401(k), TDI, and Workers’ Compensation
  • Track PTO and maintain HR reports and compliance documentation
  • Provide general administrative support: answering phones, greeting visitors, managing files, and monitoring office supplies
  • Manage uniform inventory, supply orders, and incoming shipments using Excel and internal tracking systems

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in HR, administrative support, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and employment laws
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of one year in administrative or HR support
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, scheduling software, and document management tools
