HR Advisor (Arabic speaker)

Doha, Qatar

Our client is a leading bank in the region, looking for a highly experienced and strategic HR Advisor for a one-year contract role to support their HR operations and provide expert guidance across a broad range of HR functions. With 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, the ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge, sound judgment, and a consultative approach to help drive organizational effectiveness during a time of transformation or growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders, offering expert advice on employee relations, organizational design, performance management, succession planning and workforce planning.
  • Lead complex employee relations cases, providing high-quality, compliant, and timely guidance to managers.
  • Support change management initiatives including restructuring, policy development, and cultural alignment.
  • Review and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and legal compliance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior HR team members, supporting capability development across the function.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition and learning & development teams on workforce planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and HR metrics.
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies and foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, particularly during organizational changes or transitions.
  • Partner with external consultants or legal advisors when needed on complex HR matters.


Key Requirements:


  • An Arabic speaker with 15–20 years of broad HR experience, including strategic advisory roles.
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in the banking or financial services industry is required.
  • Proven track record of working with senior leadership and managing complex HR matters.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, organizational dynamics, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Experience in both large corporate and mid-size or agile environments is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s or CIPD certification preferred).
