HR Assistant

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • HR Operations Management:

Oversee and streamline daily HR activities, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, timekeeping, and employee records.

· Ensure HR operations support the fast-paced, high-turnover nature of F&B service environments.

2. Workforce Planning and Staffing:

  • Partner with restaurant and kitchen managers to anticipate staffing needs, especially during peak periods, holidays, and special events.
  • Coordinate recruitment and deployment of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including part-time and

seasonal hires.

3. Policy Implementation and Compliance:

  • Develop, Implement and enforce HR policies that comply with labor laws, health and safety standards, and food service regulations.
  • Ensure all employee documentation, training, and certifications (e.g., food handler permits) are up to date.
  • Lead process improvements in attendance tracking, performance management, and workforce reporting.

5. Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

  • Address employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions fairly and in alignment with company policies.
  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment across all locations.

6. Payroll and Attendance Oversight:

  • Manage payroll processing and accuracy, particularly for hourly employees, shift differentials, and tip reporting.
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, and leave tracking systems to ensure labor law compliance and operational efficiency.

7. Training and Development:

  • Support training initiatives in customer service, hygiene, and compliance across F&B units.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure new hires are fully integrated and meet operational standards.

8. HRIS and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and generate reports on turnover, headcount, absenteeism, and labor costs.
  • Use data insights to support workforce decisions and improve operational outcomes.

9. Benefits and Wellness Programs:

  • Administer employee benefits programs and support initiatives focused on employee wellness and retention.
  • Communicate benefits information clearly to all staff levels, including non-desk workers.

10. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor HR coordinators or site-level HR staff, ensuring consistent service delivery and professional development.
  • Promote HR best practices and service excellence within the team.

11. Project Management and Support:

  • Lead HR projects such as new location openings, HR system implementations, and organizational restructuring.
  • Support change management and internal communication strategies.

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Experience : 2+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years within the F&B

Training : Any management related trainings and course

Skills : Excellent knowledge of UAE labor laws, HR compliance, and payroll processes.

Strong leadership qualities.

Experience with HRIS platforms and reporting tools to recommend.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong work ethic and Proactive In nature

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
