HR Assistant

Job Role:
As an HR Fresher, you will directly handle hands-on HR activities without undergoing long training periods. You will report straight to management and play a vital role in shaping our company culture, processes, and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through job portals, referrals, and networks.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assist management in hiring decisions.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and conduct onboarding, including orientation on company policies and culture.

2. Employee Records & Compliance

  • Maintain personnel files and HR records (attendance, leave, contracts).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, statutory requirements, etc.).
  • Keep up-to-date with legal and statutory changes affecting small businesses.
  • Prepare HR reports related to attrition, headcount, and other metrics.

3. Payroll & Benefits

  • Calculate salaries, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with the accountant or manage payroll directly.
  • Handle employee benefits such as health insurance and leave encashment.

4. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Track employee attendance, holidays, and leave balances.
  • Approve leaves and ensure fair leave policy implementation.

5. Performance & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill development sessions.
  • Encourage employee growth and motivation.
  • Conduct training for watchmen, cleaning staff, and other support personnel to maintain standards and discipline.

6. Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure smooth communication between management and staff.
  • Handle conflict resolution when needed.

7. HR Policies & Culture

  • Simplify and implement HR policies suitable for a small team.
  • Promote company culture through engagement activities and team-building initiatives.
  • Organize team meetings, prepare agendas, and circulate Minutes of Meetings (MOMs).
  • Support internal communications and employee satisfaction initiatives.

8. Administrative & Front Desk Support

  • Manage basic office HR administration (ID cards, workplace safety, stationery).
  • Welcome guests and ensure a professional reception.
  • Receive and direct phone calls efficiently.
  • Assist management in HR-related strategic decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fresher with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ready to work in a hands-on environment

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
