Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with department heads to schedule interviews.
- Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for various hotel departments (e.g., Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Front Desk).
- Onboard new hires and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Support in resolving conflicts and managing employee grievances, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Organize employee events and initiatives to boost morale and engagement.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate training sessions for new and existing employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications.
Performance Management:
- Help coordinate the performance appraisal process.
- Monitor staff performance, assisting managers in addressing performance issues and providing support where needed.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll and attendance records.
Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, particularly in relation to employee relations and HR practices.
- Stay up-to-date on labor law changes and ensure the hotel remains compliant with all applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in HR or hospitality management is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
