HR Assistant

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Staffing:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with department heads to schedule interviews.
  • Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for various hotel departments (e.g., Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Front Desk).
  • Onboard new hires and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Support in resolving conflicts and managing employee grievances, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Organize employee events and initiatives to boost morale and engagement.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications.

Performance Management:

  • Help coordinate the performance appraisal process.
  • Monitor staff performance, assisting managers in addressing performance issues and providing support where needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll and attendance records.

Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, particularly in relation to employee relations and HR practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor law changes and ensure the hotel remains compliant with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in HR or hospitality management is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
