Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Prayatna Centre for Child Development, Kochi

Experience: Minimum 2 years in HR roles

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, employee engagement, payroll processing, and maintaining HR records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Support onboarding processes and coordinate induction sessions for new hires.
  • Handle routine HR-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions to employee concerns.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
