HR Assistant

The HT Group is hiring an  HR Assistant  for our client in The Woodlands. This is a long-term contract role anticipated to run through the end of 2026, with the potential for extension. The position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office attendance on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (no exceptions).  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working in systems, and provides strong customer support to employees and internal stakeholders. This role is highly administrative in nature, with the majority of time spent working within HR systems to ensure accurate employee data management and a smooth onboarding experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-volume data entry in the HRMS/HRIS system with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Process new hires following Talent Acquisition handoff, ensuring all onboarding documentation and system entries are completed accurately and timely
  • Enter job changes, transfers, and other employee updates into the HR system
  • Ensure new hires receive first-day information and necessary onboarding details
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and system questions
  • Maintain data integrity and audit records for accuracy and compliance
  • Support general HR administrative tasks and reporting as needed
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar HR support role
  • Experience working within an HRIS/HRMS platform is required, with SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
