Location: Pleasanton, CA (Fully On‑Site)

Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized HR Assistant to support the Human Resources team with employee data management, onboarding, compliance, and daily administrative operations. This temporary, fully on‑site role is ideal for someone with HR or administrative experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys supporting people‑focused processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage accurate data entry and maintenance of employee demographic information across multiple HRIS portals, ensuring departments are notified of changes.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end background check process and conduct I‑9 audits to ensure compliance with E‑Verify regulations.
• Support onboarding activities by assisting with new hire documentation, memos, and staff communications.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support, including form completion, correspondence, and mail distribution.
• Manage HR logistics such as scheduling meeting spaces, coordinating catering, and supporting department events.
• Proactively communicate with the HR team to escalate issues and support timely resolution of departmental needs.
• Assist with HR special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Technical Requirements

Required:

• At least 1 year of HR experience and/or administrative experience

Preferred:

• Experience with onboarding processes and/or completion of I‑9 documentation
• HR administrative or HRIS data entry experience
• Experience supporting teams in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  
  

Compensation

• $30 per hour , based on experience
