HR Assistant - Male

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • Liaise with finance to ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Monitor attendance and leave records via HRMS
  • Ensure compliance with UAE’s Wages Protection System (WPS)
  • Leave Policy Administration
  • Develop and update leave policies in line with UAE Labor Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021)
  • Maintain accurate leave balances and transaction history
  • Monitor leave accruals and carry-forwards based on policy
  • Ensure leave records are updated in the HRMS or payroll system
  • Ensure leave entitlements are granted and documented per UAE law
  • Generate monthly reports on leave utilization, absenteeism, and trends
  • Maintain accurate employee records (soft and hard copies)
  • Update employment status changes and ensure legal compliance
  • Support ongoing training initiatives and performance reviews
  • Assist with visa processing and labor law compliance (especially UAE-specific)
  • Liaise with PROs and government portals for documentation and renewals
  • Act as a point of contact for staff grievances and conflict resolution
  • Promote a positive work culture and ensure employee satisfaction
  • Help develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure alignment with UAE labor laws and healthcare regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Masters degree in HR
  • 2 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and visa processing
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with discretion
