HR Assistant (Payroll)

Job Title: HR Assistant – Payroll
Education: BBA-HR / MBA-HR or relevant field
Experience: 2–3 Years of relevant experience
Salary Range: Competitive Salary
Job Location: G/8 Islamabad

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing company payroll on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain payroll records by gathering, calculating, and entering employee data accurately.
  • Support in computing employee benefits, deductions, and taxes.
  • Assist in implementing Compensation & Benefits (C&B) policies in line with company policies and labor laws.
  • Support performance appraisal cycles from a payroll and C&B perspective.
  • Assist in preparing employee headcount and payroll-related reports.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in payroll records for timely resolution.
  • Prepare payroll reports for record-keeping and management review.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely processing of EOBI, PESSI, insurance, and other employee-related payments.
  • Maintain employee payroll files and confidentiality of records.
  • Assist in HR analytics and reporting tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of payroll processing & Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
  • Understanding of Pakistani labor laws, taxes, EOBI & PESSI
  • Proficiency in HRMS/payroll systems & MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational abilities
