HR Business Partner

Position: HR Officer / HR Business Partner – Machining & Special Processes Unit

Department: Human Resources Reports To: Plant Head / Corporate HR Head

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia labour laws and proven HR experience in a manufacturing / machining environment. The HR Officer will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations for the Machining & Special Processes Unit, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, performance management, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to the Plant Head and leadership team, ensuring smooth people operations aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia labour laws, GOSI, and HR-related government regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation in line with local legal requirements.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections related to HR and labour law.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment for the unit (staff, operators, technicians, and engineers).
  • Partner with manpower agencies for skilled and semi-skilled hiring.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR policies, benefits, and grievances.
  • Foster a positive and compliant work environment aligned with company values.
  • Support conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

Performance & Development

  • Support the implementation of performance management systems.
  • Work with line managers to identify training and development needs.
  • Coordinate with L&D for skill development programs specific to machining & special processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll inputs, leave management, and overtime in coordination with finance.
  • Handle insurance, GOSI, and other statutory employee benefits.
  • Support cost optimization in manpower planning.

HR Strategy & Plant Support

  • Partner with Plant Head and operations leaders on manpower planning, workforce productivity, and retention.
  • Drive employee engagement activities to improve motivation and reduce attrition.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in HR policies and practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in HR / Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing setup (machining / aerospace / automotive preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia labour laws, GOSI, visas, and employment regulations.
  • Experience in handling HR operations for plant/shop-floor employees.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
