Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for providing comprehensive consultation and support on all human resource and talent management needs. This position will actively partner with leadership and associates to enable a high-performance, engaged culture through HR initiatives.
Essential Functions

- Proactively consult with leaders and recommend HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes
- Collaborate with HR team on the delivery of strategic initiatives
- Serve as a consultant and adviser to leaders in the effective management of their workforce through the implementation of performance management, organizational design, talent assessments and leadership development
- Seek to understand the “voice of the associate” and partner with leaders to make improvements
- Focus efforts to improve associate engagement and retention
- Manage applicable processes, including, leaves of absences, corrective action, investigations, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in delivering high-volume, high demand HR services
- Experience in finding talent solutions to solve business problems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field desired
- Experience working in Human Resources within a large operation or business unit
- Exceptionally strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- High level of professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to use various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, HRIS, etc.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
This position will require up to 10% travel.
