About the Role

The HR Business Partner for Northridge Manufacturing Operations provides both strategic and tactical HR partnership to manufacturing leadership and operational teams. This role works closely with business leaders to align people strategies with operational priorities, support organizational effectiveness, and ensure effective management of the employee lifecycle within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR programs that support operational performance and employee engagement. This role plays a critical part in enabling manufacturing excellence by ensuring the organization has the talent, structure, and culture required to deliver operational performance.

This role is onsite in Northridge, CA

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to manufacturing operations leadership, aligning HR strategies with business priorities and production goals
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, and leadership effectiveness
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
  • Support workforce planning, including hiring strategies, talent pipelines, and organizational design for manufacturing teams
  • Drive engagement initiatives to improve retention, morale, and overall employee experience on the production floor
  • Partner with site leadership to support change management initiatives, including organizational transformations and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements, particularly within a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Support and execute performance management processes, including talent reviews and succession planning for key roles
  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and operational excellence

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Or, advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$112,000.00 - $168,000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).


This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
