HR Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages personnel employment status, benefits, personnel files, and credentials.

REPORTS TO: President

PROVIDES SUPERVISION TO: NA – No supervision responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate; college degree preferred.

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

• Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to type at least 50 words per minute and familiarity with basic computer programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

1. Provides clerical support to Agency administrative and field staff.

2. Maintains inventory of supplies.

3. Manages application and hiring process of new employees. Prepares candidates for orientation and training.

4. Maintains personnel files in accordance with all applicable state, federal, policy, and accreditation requirements.

5. Responsible for tracking expiring credentials and other ongoing compliance requirements such as completion of in-services on all employees.

6. Manages benefits of all employees where applicable.

7. Performs job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and professional standards.

8. Maintains client and employee confidentiality at all times.

9. Communicates necessary information to Agency administrative staff to ensure coordination of Agency services and activities.

10. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using computer software for data entry and document management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with calendar management tools and office equipment is a plus.
