We're seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team and support our frontline heroes behind the scenes.

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations, with a strong focus on onboarding, personnel file compliance, recruitment support, and payroll coordination. This position is office-based in Miami-Dade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks, license verification, orientation setup, and file preparation
  • Maintain compliant and audit-ready employee records in accordance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations
  • Monitor licensure, certification, and health documentation (e.g., TB, CPR, annual training) to ensure timely renewals
  • Post job openings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Collect and review employee timesheets, support payroll processes, and resolve timekeeping issues
  • Respond to employee questions related to HR policies and provide assistance in a timely and professional manner
  • Generate reports and assist with internal file audits and regulatory compliance reviews
  • Support employee engagement activities and HR communications

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting
  • Knowledge of Florida employment laws and healthcare compliance practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience (such as Sage) is a plus
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
