- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for various positions.
- Coordinate crewing activities, including crew rotation, travel arrangements, visa processing, and crew welfare.
- Maintain crew records, certifications, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulations related to crewing, including flag state requirements and industry standards.
- Administer crew contracts and employment agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Coordinate crew payroll and related processes in collaboration with the finance department.
- Manage crew performance evaluation processes and support career development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and practices in line with local labor laws and company standards.
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees, including safety and technical training as required.
- Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and provide guidance to management on compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address HR and crewing needs.
- Support the development and implementation of crewing strategies to attract and retain qualified seafarers.
- Participate in HR and crewing-related audits and inspections.
