Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to act as the key link between management and labour staff. The role’s main focus is to manage employee attendance, timesheets, and labour welfare. The HR Manager will ensure that all employees follow proper punch-in/out procedures, maintain accurate attendance records for payroll, and that all HR processes comply with Bahrain Labour Law.
He will also oversee labour camp discipline, cleanliness, and overall staff welfare, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:1. Time & Attendance Management

  • Monitor and maintain daily attendance for all employees through punch-in/punch-out systems.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, and leaves to ensure accurate salary sheet preparation at month-end.
  • Investigate absenteeism or late attendance and report findings to management.
  • Ensure compliance with working hours, leave, and wage regulations under Bahrain Labour Law.

2. Labour–Management Coordination & Welfare

  • Act as the primary link between site/labour staff and management.
  • Handle all labour issues, grievances, and requests, ensuring timely communication to management.
  • Maintain order, discipline, and hygiene in the labour accommodation/camp; ensure regular cleaning and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular camp inspections and coordinate with site supervisors or camp caretakers to address maintenance or welfare issues.

3. HR Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and issue all HR correspondence including memos, warning letters, termination notices, and disciplinary actions in line with Bahrain Labour Law.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records: contracts, CPR, passport, visa, work permit, and medical documents.
  • Ensure all HR and administrative procedures align with Articles 99–103 of the Labour Law (attendance & penalties registers).

4. Leave & End-of-Service Management

  • Track employee leave balances and prepare leave salary, air ticket entitlements, and final settlements.
  • Maintain accurate data for staff returning from leave or completing tenure.

5. Payroll Coordination

  • Submit verified time-sheets to Accounts for monthly payroll processing.
  • Support salary adjustments for overtime, unpaid leave, or deductions based on attendance records.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HR, preferably in construction/interior fit-out sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HR/time attendance systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Strong leadership with attention to discipline, hygiene, and worker welfare.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, New grad
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: BD250.000 - BD350.000 per month
