HR Executive

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team at Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will support HR operations locally, including recruitment, employee engagement, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and day-to-day HR administration, ensuring smooth HR practices aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for restaurant staff (front of house, back of house, and support roles).
  • Handle onboarding, documentation, and induction of new employees.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with the Corporate HR/Accounts team.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF, etc.) in coordination with the Corporate HR.
  • Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
  • Prepare HR reports and share regular updates with the Corporate HR team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant/hotel industry.
  • Good knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and recruitment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of HRMS is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
