Position Overview

The HR Executive (Compliance & Employee Engagement) will primarily be responsible for managing statutory compliance and regulatory adherence while actively driving employee engagement initiatives within the organization. This role requires strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR documentation, compliance audits, and workforce engagement strategies to maintain a legally compliant and positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Statutory Compliance (Primary Responsibility)

  • Ensure full compliance with applicable Indian labor laws including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants and authorities for inspections, notices, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure timely renewal of licenses, registrations, and statutory filings.
  • Keep updated with amendments in labor laws and implement necessary changes.

2. HR Documentation & Record Management

  • Maintain employee files including appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters, and contracts.
  • Ensure proper documentation for onboarding and exit formalities.
  • Maintain leave records, attendance records, and compliance registers.
  • Prepare HR MIS and compliance reports for management review.
  • Ensure secure handling of confidential employee data.

3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan and organize employee engagement activities, team-building events, and celebration programs.
  • Conduct employee feedback initiatives and engagement surveys.
  • Support wellness initiatives and employee welfare programs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and ensure timely resolution.

4. Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling and documentation.
  • Support offer issuance, joining formalities, and onboarding process.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is completed during onboarding.

5. HR Policy Implementation

  • Implement HR policies aligned with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies.
  • Ensure disciplinary actions and grievance handling are managed as per company policies and legal norms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR with strong exposure to statutory compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in HRMS software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
