Job Description

Position: HR Executive – Compliance
Location: Sachin GIDC, Surat
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: Head/Manager – HR

Role Objective:

The HR Executive will be responsible exclusively for labour law compliance, statutory payroll, PF/ESIC administration, salary processing, and employee grievance handling related to wages and statutory benefits.

Key Responsibilities :

Labour Law Compliance

  • Ensure complete compliance with applicable labour laws, including:
  • Factories Act / Shops & Establishments Act
  • Payment of Wages Act
  • Minimum Wages Act
  • Bonus Act
  • Gratuity Act
  • Industrial Disputes Act
  • Maternity Benefit Act
  • Contract Labour (R&A) Act

Payroll & Salary Administration

  • End-to-end monthly payroll processing ensuring accuracy and statutory adherence.
  • Verify wage structures as per minimum wage notifications.
  • Manage salary revisions, arrears, deductions, and settlements related to payroll.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions.

PF, ESIC & Statutory Management

  • PF & ESIC registration, monthly challans, ECR filing, and returns.
  • Handle PF/ESIC claims, withdrawals, transfers, inspections, and audits.
  • Coordinate with PF & ESIC departments and resolve notices and discrepancies.

Employee Grievance Handling (Wages & Statutory Only)

  • Address employee grievances related to:
  • Salary discrepancies
  • PF/ESIC contributions & benefits
  • Bonus, gratuity, and statutory payments
  • Coordinate with management to ensure timely and lawful resolution.

Statutory Records & Audits

  • Maintain all statutory registers, payroll records, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns and audit data.
  • Independently handle labour inspections, audits, and compliance queries.

General HR/Admin activities:
Liasoning & Documentations with Govt department

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of Indian Labour Laws & Payroll Compliance
  • Hands-on experience with PF, ESIC, salary structuring, and statutory audits
  • Ability to independently handle labour authorities and employee escalations
  • High accuracy, compliance focus, and documentation skills

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Commerce, Law, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience in labour compliance & payroll
  • Manufacturing / factory experience preferred
  • Only Male Local Candidate Require from Surat. (Pref. Gujarati local candidate)

Job Type: Full-time
