An HR Executive is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, from recruitment and employee relations to policy implementation and compliance. They play a crucial role in maintaining a positive, productive work environment and ensuring the company complies with all labor laws.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The primary duties of an HR Executive typically include:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews).
  • Coordinating the onboarding and induction of new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Handling employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues fairly and confidentially.
  • Planning and executing employee engagement activities, like team-building and wellness programs, to foster a positive work culture.
  • HR Policies & Compliance:
  • Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all local and national labor laws (e.g., wage, benefits, and workplace safety regulations).
  • HR Operations & Administration:
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, databases, and HR documentation (using HRIS/HR software).
  • Assisting with payroll processing, benefits administration, and managing employee leave.
  • Performance & Development:
  • Supporting the performance appraisal process and maintaining records.
  • Assessing training needs and coordinating learning and development programs for employees.
  • Offboarding:
  • Managing employee separation processes, including conducting exit interviews and handling final settlement/formalities.
