HR Executive – Labor Law Specialist

Job Summary:

The HR Executive – Labor Law Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, regulations, and employment standards across the medical center . This role involves handling employee relations, managing contracts, overseeing licensing processes for medical staff, and advising management on legal HR practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Labor Law Compliance
  • Ensure the medical center’s HR practices are fully compliant with UAE Labor Law and Ministry of Health (MOH / DOH / DHA) regulations.
  • Keep updated with changes in UAE labor legislation and advise management on necessary policy updates.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts in line with labor regulations.
  • Employee Relations & Disciplinary Management
  • Provide guidance to management and employees regarding labor rights, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage employee grievances and investigations, ensuring fair and lawful practices.
  • HR Operations
  • Oversee visa processing, labor card applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Support licensing and credentialing processes for healthcare professionals in compliance with UAE laws.
  • Manage end-of-service benefits, leave encashments, and settlements as per UAE Labor Law.
  • Policy & Documentation
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with local labor laws and medical center needs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Training & Advisory
  • Advise leadership on HR risks, compliance issues, and strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience in the UAE, within the healthcare/medical sector .
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Labor Law, MOH/DHA/DOH licensing regulations , and visa processes.
  • Proven experience handling employee relations, legal compliance, and HR documentation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
