Position Overview
The HR Executive – Payroll is responsible for accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for staff and contract workers in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, maintains employee records, coordinates with production/operations teams, and supports HR administrative activities related to wages, attendance, and employee settlements.
Key Responsibilities1. Payroll Processing
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for staff, workers, and contract employees.
- Verify attendance, overtime, shift allowances, leave records, and production-linked incentives.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions (PF, ESI, PT, LWF), arrears, and reimbursements.
- Manage salary changes due to increments, transfers, promotions, and shift changes.
2. Attendance & Time Office Management
- Reconcile biometric/attendance system data and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to validate overtime and shift records.
- Maintain updated leave and attendance MIS.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, and Factory Act-related requirements.
- Prepare monthly PF/ESI challans and ensure timely filing.
- Handle statutory inspections, documentation, and audits.
4. Employee Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate employee master data—personal details, bank details, salary structure, and documents.
- Ensure proper filing of onboarding, confirmation, increment, transfer, and separation documents.
5. Salary Disbursement & Queries
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and payroll reconciliation.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, PF/ESI, and leave.
- Issue salary slips, Form 16, and required certificates.
6. Full & Final Settlement
- Prepare and process F&F settlements including notice pay, leave encashment, gratuity calculation, and recovery.
- Ensure timely clearance and documentation for resigned employees.
7. HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly payroll MIS including manpower cost, overtime analysis, absenteeism, and headcount.
- Generate reports required by management and statutory bodies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory labor laws.
- Experience in manufacturing HR/payroll (preferred).
- Proficiency in payroll software, MS Excel, and attendance systems.
- High accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Commerce/Management.
- MBA/PGDM in HR (preferred).
- Training or certification in payroll/statutory compliance is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
