1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Understand recruitment needs from academic heads, department heads, and senior leadership.
  • Draft, update, and publish job descriptions for faculty, administrative, and technical roles.
  • Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, university networks, referrals, and professional groups.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline for frequently hired positions.

2. Screening & Shortlisting

  • Review resumes and shortlist candidates based on job criteria.
  • Conduct initial telephonic screening to evaluate communication, experience, and fit.
  • Schedule online or in-person interviews with department panels.
  • Coordinate demo lectures for faculty candidates (if applicable).

3. Interview Coordination & Evaluation

  • Prepare interview schedules and panels in coordination with department heads.
  • Share evaluation sheets and ensure proper feedback collection from interviewers.
  • Maintain transparent communication with candidates throughout the hiring cycle.

4. Offer Management

  • Coordinate salary discussions in consultation with the HR Manager.
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and contract documents.
  • Ensure smooth negotiation and timely joining of selected candidates.

5. Onboarding Support

  • Hand over selected candidates to the HR operations team for on boarding.
  • Ensure required documents are collected before joining.
  • Support induction and introduction sessions for new hires.

6. Recruitment Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain recruitment trackers (position status, candidate pipeline, turnaround time).
  • Provide weekly/monthly hiring reports to management.
  • Track key metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and offer-to-join ratio.

7. Employer Branding

  • Represent the university at job fairs, educational events, and campus recruitment drives.
  • Assist in creating recruitment campaigns and social media hiring posts.
  • Promote DBS Global University as an employer of choice

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA (HR) preferred.

Experience

  • 2 plus years of experience in recruitment (education sector preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience hiring faculty, staff, or corporate professionals is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
