HR – Franchise Operations (QSR / Fast Food Restaurant Chain)

Position Overview:

The HR Head – Franchise Operations is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end human resource functions for franchise and company-owned outlets across Dubai.

The role focuses on manpower planning, recruitment, payroll & attendance governance, HR compliance, policy & SOP implementation, employee relations, and franchise HR coordination, ensuring alignment with brand standards, franchise agreements, and Dubai/Gulf labour regulations.

Educational Qualifications:

Ø MBA / PGDM in Human Resources / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations

Ø Bachelor’s Degree – Mandatory (Commerce / Management preferred)

Experience Requirements:

Ø 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in QSR / Hospitality / Retail / Multi-unit operations

Ø Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role

Ø Experience in franchise-based organizations is an added advantage

Ø Exposure to Dubai / Gulf recruitment, payroll, and HR practices preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

Handle bulk & critical hiring for franchise outlets across Dubai

Coordinate manpower requirements with franchise partners & operations team

Liaise with recruitment agencies, consultants & vendors

Ensure proper documentation, background verification & compliance as per Dubai norms

Maintain a ready manpower pipeline to support expansion

2. Franchise HR Operations

Act as the primary HR point of contact for franchise partners

Ensure compliance with HR policies, SOPs & brand standards

Support franchise onboarding, HR audits & compliance reviews

Resolve manpower-related franchise issues in coordination with operations

Standardize HR practices across all franchise outlets

3. Policy & SOP Implementation

Implement HR policies covering:

Attendance & leave

Shift & weekly off systems

Discipline, grooming & hygiene

Code of conduct & workplace behaviour

Align HR SOPs with Dubai/Gulf labour regulations while maintaining brand consistency

Ensure systematic maintenance of employee records & HR documentation

4. Employee Relations & Discipline

Handle employee grievances, misconduct & disciplinary cases

Draft and issue warning letters, show-cause notices & termination communications

Support franchise partners in dispute resolution & corrective action planning

Promote a positive, compliant & performance-driven work culture

5. Payroll, Attendance & Labour Law Compliance

Ø Coordinate payroll processing with Accounts & Finance teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness & confidentiality

Ø Monitor attendance systems, shift rosters, overtime, weekly offs & leave records

Ø Ensure compliance with company policies on wages, overtime & leave entitlements

Ø Labour Law & Regulatory Support (Coordination Role)

Ø Employment contracts & renewals

Ø Working hours & overtime compliance

Ø Leave entitlements & public holidays

Ø End-of-service benefits (EOSB)

Ø Monitoring visa-related HR documentation & contract validity

Ø Support labour inspections, audits & statutory reporting

Ø Address employee queries related to salary, attendance & leave

6. Performance & Attrition Management

Ø Support performance monitoring & staff productivity initiatives

Ø Analyse attrition trends and recommend corrective actions

Ø Assist in appraisal cycles & incentive frameworks

Ø Drive retention strategies for key operational roles

7. HR Reporting & MIS (Management Information System)

Ø Maintain systematic tracking of:

Ø Manpower strength

Ø Attendance & leave

Ø Payroll summaries

Ø Attrition & retention

Ø Compliance status

Ø Submit periodic HR MIS & compliance reports to management

Ø Ensure strict confidentiality of HR, employee & franchise data

Ø Performance Expectations

Ø Timely manpower availability across all outlets

Ø High HR compliance and audit readiness

Ø Reduced attrition and improved productivity

Ø Zero major HR non-compliance observations

Ø Strong franchise HR governance and standardization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
