We are seeking an experienced HR professional who can support the company on a freelance, need-basis arrangement. The HR Freelancer will assist with recruitment, payroll, compliance, performance management, and other HR-related tasks as required. The role will typically require a few hours of work per week, with flexibility to increase involvement depending on workload and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews.
- Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, and ensure accuracy of payments.
- Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to labor laws, including timely submission of relevant filings.
- Handle employee onboarding, documentation, and maintaining employee records.
- Support performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and goal-setting cycles.
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including drafting HR policies, letters, and other HR-related documentation.
- Advise management on HR best practices and compliance requirements.
- Provide ad-hoc HR support as requested.
What Expertise You’ll Add To The Team
- Degree holder or Diploma in Human Resources or related disciplines
- 2-3 years if proven experience in HR, including recruitment, payroll, tax, statutory compliance, and performance management.
- Well-versed with Employment Ordinance and HR practices of geographies like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, India, Canada, etc.
- Ability to manage end-to-end HR operations independently.
- Able to build good relationships with external and internal parties
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail minded with a positive attitude
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to adjust availability based on workload and excited about working in a fast paced, results-oriented environment
- Ardent learner with a attitude of constantly improving oneself
Engagement Terms:
- A few hours per week on average.
- Hours and scope may be adjusted depending on workload and company requirements.
- Freelance engagement, with no fixed working hours.
