What we need

MAHAR is seeking a HR Generalist that manages payroll, leads talent acquisition and assists in the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent in HR and Accounting experience
• Strong commitment to professional and ethical standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, excellent time management and organizational skills
• Customer service orientation

Would be great if you had

• Experience maintaining an ATS or LMS
• 3 years or more of talent acquisition experience
• 2 years or more of payroll experience

What you’ll do

• Prepare, process, and reconcile semi-monthly payroll for non-executive employees
• Review and approve international payroll
• Lead recruiting and onboarding activities
• Assist with benefits and 401k administration, including open enrollment and billing reconciliation
• Maintain and manage HRIS and LMS system
• Support MAHAR’s safety program and manage HR-related quality documents
• Perform payroll and insurance-related GL account reconciliation, payroll imports, and funding
• Assists with maintenance and control of HR-related quality documents; will be expected to be certified as an internal quality auditor
