About the Role: HR Generalist
Anderson Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR Department and play a critical role in supporting employees across the full employee lifecycle. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in structured environments, values compliance and consistency, and enjoys being a trusted resource for staff and leadership.
The HR Generalist is responsible for executing core HR operations including onboarding, HRIS administration, personnel records, benefits and leave administration, training compliance, and day-to-day employee support. You will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure HR processes are efficient, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
This role is hands-on and operational, with opportunities to help build and strengthen scalable HR systems as Anderson Health Services continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality HR services across the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related questions and issues while escalating complex matters appropriately
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation, training, and system access requirements are completed
  • Maintain and organize digital personnel files in accordance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and follow HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Support benefits and leave administration, including employee inquiries, enrollments, and coordination with brokers and vendors
  • Draft and process offer letters, employment changes, and compensation-related documentation
  • Track and document completion of required trainings, certifications, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with HR reporting, including headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics
  • Support performance management processes, including reviews, documentation, and timelines
  • Partner with HR leadership on organization-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and system workflows to increase consistency and scalability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other regulated environments strongly preferred
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Process-oriented, with an interest in building structure, improving documentation, and standardizing workflows
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
