HR Generalist – Payroll & Personnel (E-commerce)

Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll (salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, taxes).
  • Ensure payroll is aligned with attendance and timesheets.
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely salary payments.
  • Personnel & Employee Records
  • Create and maintain employee files (contracts, warnings, penalties, HR letters, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation (hard copy & digital).
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding documentation.
  • Social Insurance & Labor Office
  • Handle social insurance for new hires, salary updates, and resignations/terminations.
  • Prepare and submit required forms and documentation to Social Insurance and Labor Office.
  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance Law.
  • Recruitment
  • Post vacancies on LinkedIn and other job platforms.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews.
  • Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding for new employees (introductions, policies, systems).
  • HR Operations & Reporting
  • Support implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports (headcount, turnover, absence, payroll summary, etc.).
  • Collaborate with management to improve HR processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, HR, Law , or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist / Payroll & Personnel Specialist.
  • Previous experience in E-commerce, Retail, or a multi-shift / blue- & white-collar environment .
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following systems is a strong plus:
  • Odoo
  • SAP
  • Fawry Payroll or similar payroll systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance .
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IF, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
  • Good communication skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
