Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Participate in employee evaluation processes and assist with performance management initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data entry.
- Contribute to projects related to talent management, succession planning, and change management.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries regarding benefits.
- Support workforce management efforts by collecting and analyzing HR data for reporting purposes.
- Engage in social media management to promote company culture and job openings.
- Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of human capital management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
- Understanding of talent acquisition strategies, including recruiting and interviewing techniques.
- Proficiency in project management skills to assist with HR initiatives effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
- Experience with HR software systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for workforce management reporting.
- Administrative experience that includes familiarity with payroll systems like Kronos or UltiPro is advantageous.
