HR Intern

Over the next 3 years (2022-2025), Akanksha will be focusing on the following key

priorities;

1. Doubling down on excellence and innovation across our current schools

a. To accelerate the academic learning (post the pandemic) leveraging

personalized learning using technology and partnering with parents

b. Continue our efforts on well-being and safety of our children through a

focused implementation of socio-emotional learning programs.

c. Designing and implementing new programs to develop new age

competencies like entrepreneurship, digital literacy, environmental

consciousness and financial literacy.

2. Launch and grow our multiplier initiative in partnership with the governments and

like-minded non-profit organizations, through codification of Akanksha’s ‘best in

class’ practices around Art, socio emotional learning, parents as partners and

English as second language.

3. Continue supporting our alumni to push the boundaries of achievements and

ensuring they stay on track to break the cycle of poverty.

Reports to: Manager – Human Resources

Position Summary:

As a Consultant working in Human Resources function, you will be responsible for

supporting the HR team in Recruitment of various positions in Akanksha right from

sourcing to hiring from varied sources.

Overview of the Team:

The HR team at Akanksha partners both with school teams and with Central support

functions, to provide high quality HR support in achieving the organization’s mission and

objectives. The HR team is responsible for effective recruitment, performance

management and development and employee engagement at Akanksha, and ensures that

organizational policies are adhered to at all levels.

What your role will entail:

• Support in implementing recruitment strategy and drive the recruitment and selection process right from sourcing to hiring
• Create a database of candidates and pipeline for potential candidates and
• Maintaining various Recruitment dashboards

What you need for this Position:

Experience:

• Candidates with minimum1 year of Recruitment experience are preferred. Fresh MBA HR graduates can also apply

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in the use of the MS office toolkit
• Ability to connect with Colleges/Institutes for talent sourcing

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Preferably in Human Resources)

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
