Job Overview:

As an HR Intern, you will assist the HR team in a variety of tasks, including recruitment, employee engagement, HR administration, and policy implementation. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about HR best practices, gain exposure to the day-to-day workings of an HR department, and develop valuable skills that will help shape your future career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
  • Assist with posting job ads on job boards and the company website.
  • Screen resumes and applications.
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
  • Help with on boarding and new hire orientations.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Support HR in organising employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of wellness programs.
  • Maintain employee engagement data and assist with feedback surveys.
  • HR Administration:
  • Assist with employee record keeping and HR documentation.
  • Maintain HR databases (e.g., time-off tracking, personal files, etc.).
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Support HR team with maintaining compliance with labour laws.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
  • General HR Support:
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide support for HR-related questions.
  • Assist in creating HR-related communications and newsletters.
  • Perform other ad-hoc HR tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in developing a career in HR.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
