Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human capital management, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
- Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management processes.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and workers' compensation regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict management and resolution.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational development.
- Utilize HRIS systems (ADP Workforce now) for data entry, reporting, and workforce management.
- Ensure adherence to affirmative action planning and succession planning practices.
- Collaborate with management on organization design and strategic workforce planning.
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety standards are met.
- Manage HR sourcing strategies through social media platforms Indeed and LinkedIn. Preferred knowledge in ATS systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation.
- Experience in project management related to HR initiatives.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with payroll systems like ADP is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and reporting purposes.
- Administrative experience in managing contracts related to human resources functions is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
