Job Title: HR Manager - plant level

Location - Palavalasa, Anandapuram Vizag

Reports To: Senior Management / Director / CEO

Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant.
  • Ensure timely attendance, payroll inputs, leave management, and contract labour management.
  • Maintain employee records and HRMIS updates.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Coordinate manpower planning in line with production requirements.
  • Recruit and onboard plant-level employees (staff, workers, trainees, contract labour).
  • Liaise with placement agencies, ITIs, and local institutions for workforce needs.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build and maintain healthy relations between management and employees.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution at the plant.
  • Drive employee welfare, motivation, and engagement programs.

4. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for workers and staff.
  • Conduct induction, safety training, and statutory training sessions.
  • Track training effectiveness.

5. Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, CLRA, ESIC, PF, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Manage liaison with government authorities and statutory bodies.
  • Handle union interactions (if applicable) and participate in wage negotiations.

6. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and welfare measures at the plant.
  • Work closely with the Safety Officer and Plant Head on EHS initiatives.

7. Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide regular HR dashboards and reports to corporate HR.
  • Align plant HR activities with organizational HR strategy and policies.
  • Support plant leadership in driving productivity and people initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / MSW / PG in HR or Industrial Relations.
  • 5–10 years of HR experience with at least 3–5 years in a plant/ manufacturing set-up.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, IR, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in handling contract labour and shop-floor workforce.
