Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Accurately calculate employee wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Process payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary updates.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries through direct deposit or other methods.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and file payroll-related tax returns and reports.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee information, time records, and payroll transactions.
- Ensure the confidentiality of payroll data.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees with payroll-related questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Other Duties:
- Prepare payroll reports and analyze payroll data.
- Assist with payroll audits and reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Participate in HR projects related to payroll and compensation.
