HR Manager

We're searching for a highly capable, dedicated, and experienced HR Manager to take ownership of our complete Human Resources function. This is a crucial, full-time generalist position where you'll serve as both the strategic partner and the hands-on operational lead for our people and culture agenda.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the employee lifecycle and all HR-related duties, Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Strategic Policy & Compliance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining all HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with labour laws and promoting a safe, inclusive working environment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from workforce planning and drafting job descriptions to coordinating interviews, issuing contracts, and executing smooth induction and onboarding programmes.
  • Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Proactively managing and resolving all employee relations matters, including disciplinary action, grievances, and complex employee queries.
  • Performance & Development: Overseeing performance management systems, coordinating annual appraisals, identifying critical training needs, and implementing development programmes to foster employee growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Managing all administrative tasks related to payroll, benefits administration, and coordinating annual salary and compensation reviews.
  • Culture & Engagement: Driving initiatives and managing internal communication to enhance employee well-being, morale, and overall company culture.

What We Are Looking For

Team Management

  • To build, develop and effectively manage HR to ensure all staff are trained and supported in meeting their role requirements.
  • To ensure that HR activities are carried out effectively and accurately
  • To ensure that payroll is completed accurately and timely.

HR Strategy and development

  • Review HR policies and procedures in line with employment law, best practice and the Company's strategic intentions. Communicate policy updates and train staff to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Leading on the team’s production of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Develop effective performance management leading to a high-performance culture, coaching managers on best practice
  • Working with the Health and Wellbeing group contribute to the implementation of the health and wellbeing strategy
  • To lead on employee engagement activities and develop internal communication

Management support

  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to Managers and employees, supporting Managers in dealing with complex HR matters
  • To advise and consult with the Senior Leadership Team on all people-related issues
  • To contribute to the achievement of outstanding leadership and management across the company.
  • To support management with workforce planning and headcount, ensuring that the workforce establishment is maintained and any recruitment authorised

Employee Relations

  • Be an advocate for management and staff, responding to grievances, mediating disputes, and encouraging open communication.
  • Promote good employee relations
  • Support the team with complex employee relations cases
  • Support with conflict resolution and early conciliation
  • Technology/HR System/Data
  • Develop and implement innovative ways of using technology within HR activity
  • Ensure the HR System is fully utilised with accurate data and contribute to system good practice and development

Requirements for the Role

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Management role.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Must be permanently based in Lahore or willing to commute/relocate to Lahore.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the office as this is an onsite position.
  • Familiarity with Odoo is a plus.
