- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-quality talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
- Administer performance appraisal systems and support managers in addressing performance issues.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program; manage relationships with benefits providers.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and maintain accurate employee records.
- Plan and organize employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze trends to inform HR strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR team members.
