Position Title: Group Head of Human Resources

Reporting To: Managing Director (MD)
Employment Type: Full time

Location: UAE

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Group Head of HR to lead the human resources function across multiple entities within our organization. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a critical role in shaping and executing people strategies that support business growth, operational excellence, and a culture of integrity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with the MD and senior leadership to develop and implement group-wide HR strategies
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives across all brands and entities
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management efforts

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with UAE labor laws and international standards
  • Oversee sensitive matters including terminations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all HR dealings

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Drive recruitment strategies for leadership and critical roles
  • Implement robust onboarding, training, and succession planning programs
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all hiring and development practices

HR Operations & Systems

  • Oversee payroll including end of service, benefits, and HRIS systems across the group
  • Standardize HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and asset handovers
  • Monitor key HR metrics and provide regular reports to the MD

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Brand Heads, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams
  • Liaise with external partners including government bodies, legal advisors, and recruitment agencies

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Progressive HR leadership experience required, preferably in multi-sector environments

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and HR compliance frameworks
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ethical, empathetic, and culturally aware
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to balance strategic vision with operational execution
