HR Manager – Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: job posting, shortlisting, interviews, and final selection.
- Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and ensure workplace harmony.
- Plan employee engagement activities, team-building events, and recognition programs.
- Performance Management
- Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews with department heads.
- Identify training and development needs and organize learning sessions.
- Policy Development & Compliance
- Create, update, and enforce HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety, and company regulations.
- Maintain employee records and documentation as per statutory requirements.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Supervise payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
- Manage employee benefits like insurance, incentives, and reimbursements.
- Ensure timely and accurate disbursal of salaries and statutory dues (EPF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
- Strategic HR Planning
- Work with management to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Forecast manpower requirements and manage succession planning.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, performance data) for continuous improvement.
- Training & Development
- Organize skill enhancement and leadership development programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and employee progress.
- HR Technology & Reporting
- Use HRMS tools for employee data management and reporting.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.
