The HR Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, developing, and executing all HR functions at AstroScience Technologies. This role ensures compliance with Indian labour laws, manages the full employee lifecycle, supports organizational culture, and drives people-related strategies aligned with business goals.
The HR Manager will report to the senior management team and play a key role in creating a productive, compliant, and positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end hiring: job design, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting HR rounds.
- Develop hiring strategies and maintain talent pipelines for future staffing needs.
- Prepare job descriptions, offer letters, and appointment letters.
- Oversee smooth onboarding, documentation collection, and induction of new hires.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with Indian labour laws (Shops & Establishment Act, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit, Standing Orders, etc.).
- Ensure timely generation, checking, and filing of statutory returns & challans (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, etc.).
- Maintain HRIS/MIS reports including attendance, leaves, payroll inputs, HR dashboards, and employee records.
- Create and update company policies, HR SOPs, and compliance manuals.
- Manage letters & documentation: confirmation letters, warnings, suspension/disciplinary notices, increment letters, etc.
3. Employee Relations & Culture
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, employee feedback sessions, and address grievances in a timely manner.
- Build a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, awareness programs, and communication activities.
4. Payroll & FNF Management
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions).
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing in coordination with Accounts/Finance.
- Handle FNF settlements, exit formalities, asset return, and experience letters.
- Conduct exit interviews and maintain attrition records.
5. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and plan internal/external training sessions.
- Support continuous learning, skill-building initiatives, and compliance trainings.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, hiring, and compliance (preferably in tech or service sector).
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and HRMS tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
